February Terrain – Streetcar City
February’s terrain options will allow you to turn your campsite into a quiet far-away city with a gently clacking streetcar and vibrant architecture that appears inspired by the villages of Bavaria. This terrain set includes a foreground, a middle ground, and a red-brick shrub fence and will likely release January 29th GMT, January 28th for PST and other early time zones, but this date is unconfirmed. A closer look at the terrain can be seen in the tips images below.
Rover is running far away from the doctor who told him not to eat chocolate, into a wild adventure of bittersweet bliss and cocoamotives, and he needs your help! February’s monthlong campaign will have us collecting sweet chocolate bars to earn rewards such as the choco-checked dress, the cocoa telephone booth, and sweet-scented gifts. Completing February’s gardening event, and later in the month, February’s fishing tourney and scavenger hunt, will earn us 30 bars each for a grand total of 90 bars. Make sure to complete each event fully to earn the grand prize, the sweet-as-cocoa camper! This is one dark and smooth ride that will have your friends’ mouths watering—not to mention it’s totally edible, as delicious as it is expeditious. Just get your fill before any summer road trips… some drivers have complained about some melting issues. The chocolate chase begins January 30th GMT / January 29th PST.
Rover is out of control. After his giant chocolate smuggling scheme was a bust, he’s now trying to partake in the form of chocolate syrup clotted in the delicious pockets of waffles. February’s gardening event will have us planting crocus seeds to attract different colors of brickbees. Catch and share enough to earn prizes such as the chocolate waffles meal, orange café window seat, or roving city streetcar to create a scene of a peaceful street-side café where you can enjoy a treat in the early morning or late evening. Completing this event will also yield 30 sweet chocolate bars as part of February’s Rover’s Choco Locale campaign. The brickbeekeeping begins January 30th GMT / January 29th PST alongside the beginning of the Rover’s Choco Locale event.
Pecan’s building a new place for her and her closest friends. It’s going to be one of those shared communities where everyone is weirdly close, but it’s really not as vaguely threatening as it sounds once you’ve been there a while! Make a cute multi-story living space just how you like it with the stackable rooms, and if you’re lucky, center it around the 5-star balcony view tower perfect for looking out over the floral landscape every morning. Squirrel away at a house of unending possibilities when this prodigious cookie releases on February 1st GMT / January 31st PST.
So, you’re after a rose from your beloved, but all the other contestants—er, girls—keep stealing him away… That’s when you whip out the Valentine Rose collection. If there is a mix-up with item labeling, then it’s possible the berry (red), mint (blue), and honey (yellow) cupcakes will be given instead, but as of now, the chocolate boxes seem more likely.
White and pink heart cockles available as limited-time seashells as part of the Heart Seashell Goals event, a shell-collecting event taking place between Rover’s Waffle Whimsy and the “chocolate” fishing tourney. So... It's 2021. And you know what time it is. It's Taeil timeeee. Just kidding. Jisung just became an adult, so it's time for a rainy day and a rooftop fight. Nctzens have been waiting for this particular moment for FOUR years and now time is up. Time to fight, punch and kick like a Bruce Lee. If you have no idea what rooftop fight is, if you are just a casual lurker who is interested or you are just a new Czennie and have no idea what's going on but you also don't want to miss THE FUN to one of the biggest events in Ncity. So What Is Rooftop Fight? Introduction to Dreamies Beautiful Mind and their urge to fight.
So the first time rooftop fight was mentioned in 2017, in NCT night night. Renjun and Jeno casually mentioned their plans. No one took them seriously. In 2018 however their plans started to become more defined. Now we had some conditions: 1. They would wait until Jisung becomes an adult. 2. It has to be a rainy day. 3. They would wear suits. 4. Like in movies. 5. Should be in rooftop. After all the rules were set we also learned an interesting fact in 2018 We Go Up era. Mark and Haechan said they would stop fighting until rooftop fight. I am guessing this decision was made after infamous 2017 Markhyuck summer fight. In 2019 several members started to mention rooftop fight and how close it is. They were as shocked as Nctzens that Jisung is becoming an adult, and their time to fullfill their duty to fight was closer than expected. In 2020 they also promised to livestream or record which made all Nctzens more excited. Then Jisung voiced his concern that what if it snows and not rains... Would it be okay? Would it fullfill their fantasies to happen just like in the movies? Nevertheless people are ready. Several polls and posts were made. Chenle even voted for himself for the rooftop fight in his radio and commented on a fanmade poster made by a Chinese Nctzen in Weibo. And here is the summary of the dreamies fantasy to fight, a six minutes of Dreamies mentioning rooftop fight. So you may ask why? Why Dreamies want to fight this much? Because they are savage. Their words not mine. Blackpink made Pretty Savage for NCT Dream actually. But on a serious note, fighting and throwing fists is in Dreamies nature. They should try on SM actually. These kids sees nothing, not friendship, public image or mean comments can stop them when it comes to competiton. 1. Arguably the strongest Dreamie. He beat Jeno and Jaemin recently in arm wrestling (although he lost against them in 2018 Weekly idol) and dreamies say he is the strongest out of all. He might be cute and all but he has abs (confirmed by Nct and Nctzens in the countless times he accidently showed.) and he can punch a watermelon. 2. Leader aura so he has authority actually not So suprisingly, Mark has a liittle bit authority that he could use even though he never does. Here Jisung saying he never fought with Mark because he has a strong leader aura and Jeno-Mark also never fought through the 7 years they know each other. Markhyuck can't relate.Here is also Jeno ranking Mark number 1 in influence. So here is also a video of NCT Dream playing mafia especially in 3:05 notice how when Mark raises his voice everyone turns to listen him. And throughout the video he keeps narrating and somehow manages to make dreamies listen him. My point is if things got too heated dreamies will listen him. Although I am not sure how it will help him in a fight, these kids see nothing when it comes to a competition but I gotta add some points for Mark too yk. 3. Reflexes Mark is associated with Spider Man because of his reflexes. Here is a compilation of those moments. Mark may have one of the lowest chances of survival speculated by Nctzens but his reflexes may be the solution he looks for. Weaknesses: 1. Too soft This man may be strong but his mentality is weak. He can't throw a punch at least not to his kids dreamies. Also he can't hold an argument to save his life. Dreamies are ruthless and they can easily gang up and tease him forever. As they said their team work is the best when they tease him. So there is no way Mark survives against 6 young, scary kid. 2. Laughs too much Mark is a mess when he laughs. 1. Makes everyone scared of him. Don't make Renjun angry, that's for sure. Renjun doesn't know age, seniority, strength or public image. If you make him angry you will pay. Here is a short compilation of his victims. He might throw hands or embarrass you on national TV. It doesn't matter how, if you made him angry run for your life. There is a reason why Renjun is speculated to win and that's because even Nctzens are scared what will happen to them if they don't choose him. 2. Smart Renjun is a very smart and witty member of Dream. In his radio show RenD, everyone praised him for being so mature compared to his age and several members complimented about how smart he is. His witty sense of humor is a Czennie favourite content for sure. Despite knowing better Korean than his Korean members he manages to pull the foreigner cardwhenever he feels struggling. This should tell you that if Renjun wants something he will get it. Weaknesses 1. He is a shoulder gangster for a reason. He is the tiny king of dream with a nickname shoulder gangster. He may lack in the strength area, he is arguably the weakest dreamie. Although Ncity has full confidence in him, TeamRenjun trending for days, this is something we must consider. Renjun must have use his strengths to fullest because this is his biggest weakness and arguably the most important thing in a fight. 2. No other weakness is found.
Team Jeno
1. Muscles Jeno is definetly one of the strongest members of NCT Dream and he is very muscular. Take a look of those muscles that even Lucas simps over. Although Jeno doesn't look very scary I am sure everyone's flight mode will be activated when they see a muscular Jeno ready to fight. 2. A peaceful no enemy friend Jeno is one of the most lovable members in Dream wth a peaceful nature. No one hates him and no one has a reason to attack him first. Here is a complition of NCT loving Jeno. This will definetly raise his possibility to win considering how powerful and peaceful he is. A rare combination indeed. Weaknesses 1. Another softie with an eye smile Because of his peaceful nature Jeno is just another softie that would probably avoid throwing a punch to anyone. His eye smile with a soft look doesn't help his necessary intimidating look to his opponents. Here is his eye smile too precious, it would be a shame if it was ruined in a fight. 2. Forgives people way too easy for his own good Because of his easy going nature, Jeno forgives people too often. 1. Coffee Jaemin can be a relaxed kind member but not when he drinks his coffee. In his most natural habitat you will see him being hyper and energetic, and it's not the Jaemin you know! While his this quality will be very appreciated if he can take good quality pictures of the fight and shares with Nctzens it might not come as handy as he thought in a fight. Team Haechan
1. Haechan never loses. Haechan is incredibly well at every game he plays. There is no instance of him losing losing. Literally take a look at 25 minutes of just Haechan winning. He is competitive, determined and he has a streak on line. Haechan just can't afford losing and that's the biggest motivation he needs, especially when all dreamies are after his crown ready to throw hands because they are equally stubborn and competitive (and hungry to victory) as Haechan. 2. He can easily manipulate you if he starts whining. So... Nct keeps trusting Haechan who is notorious for being an evil genius. Why? Because he is just so cute whining. Take a look and decide if you agree with me. This is why Jeno doesn't use his muscles on Haechan, he keeps getting away. Weaknesses 1. Made too much enemy. As Yuta said: "One day Haechan will be beaten up so be careful." Haechan teased nearly all of Nct and here is a short video about it just so you could get the gist. He made fun of them relentlessly not thinking about the consecuences he has to face later. One of his biggest arch nemesis Doyoung and his successor Renjun would be delighted to use this opportunity to get their revenge from Haechan. Who knows Doyoung might even join the fight solely for this purpose but that's another topic for later. Unfortunetly some of his victims are also featured in this fight like Renjun, Mark, Jeno, Jaemin, Chenle, Jisung aka all dreamies. Haechan must protect himself because Dreamies are coming for his ass and this time they don't even need an excuse. 2. In a physical fight I am afraid Haechan must rely on his running power. Yeahh, Haechan is not exactly the strongest member. I guess we should say luckily he is not strong because otherwise would be just an overkill. Combining how he is not that strong and he has just soo many members ready to throw hands I am afraid Haechan needs to run. As fast as possible. He only needs to run faster than Mark whom will be a great victim and distraction for other dreamies not because he is evil but because he is destined to be teased, still I am not sure if Haechan can be faster than Mark. Suddenly Haechan's survival rate drops.
Team Chenle
1. Competitve confident king Chenle is an absolute beast. He is competitive. He is confident. And he doesn't stop until he wins. Here ın ISAC see how serious he gots to win. Also you know what they say: Confidence is the key. There is no other member that is as confident as him. Ok maybe Haechan. He isn't scared to give spoilers because who is SM to stop him. He has full confidence to his hair line, big head and to himself for winning the rooftop fight... You just can't help but root for Chenle. 2. Daegal Recently Chenle showed his new puppy Daegal whose a biaswrecker for every Nctzen and Nct member but fans are speculating there is a reason of his sudden introduction to Ncity: Read some of those speculations where he might win by default. Chenle is not really known for his handling a lost with humility skills, as you can see from how much of a big deal he made when he lost to Mark (out of all people lol) in PES ... So that's why people speculate Daegal is Chenle's secret weapon. Not that Chenle needs one... just for in case. 3. Young and rich Chenle is young and rich. A killer combo indeed. Here is a great video on the issue. I have a strong feeling that he can use this to his advantage just like how he got a pass on weekly idol or how he get to eat the prize food even though he lost and how he was chosen as a leader in NCT World 2.0 among his senior members. He can bribe his members teaming with them, he can pay for some bodyguards because there is no rule and as Jaemin said Cheating is a skill. Chenle has a huge advantage from start and that's a fact. Let's see how he will use it. Weaknesses 1. Strength? Not so much. While Chenle is definetly not the weakest member that title is shared among Renjun and Haechan he is also not one of the strongest. In a serious and important fight like this we can only hope this weakness of him won't be the end and he can use his strengths skillfully in order to achieve what he wants the most: Winning. Other than that no weaknesses founded.
Team Jisung
1. Adorable maknae that just turned to 20 Jisung (20) forever probably not considering the nct systemmaknae. This cute adorable maknae is every nct members weakness (but especially Jaemin's ) He may not need to fight in order to take the crown. Many nctzens think that other dreamies might let Jisung win to congratulate his beginning of adulthood. While its a cute little idea would that be enough to break Dreamies competitive soul? You decide. 2. Sneaky Many Nctzens also believe that Jisung is sneaky enough to win. Remember the moment, he stole some A marks and changed his F status. He might be maknae but he has the wit, the charm and skill to win. Don't underestimate maknae Jisung although you probably do just like NCT Dream and that's why he might be the main charachter of the biggest plot twists ever. Weaknesses 1. Awkard mess While I just said not to underestimate Jisung, there is a reason why he is so underestimated. He is incredibly clumsy. One of my main theories is that he will trip to a nonexisting rock and fall, and then Haechan will disqualify him automatically. Unlike Haechan, Jisung's biggest enemy is himself and probably only himself. Wow. We came to the end! Before I really seriously conclude I want to take a moment to appreciate Nctzens who made absolutely hilarious memes about it and created a huge buzz. Not only they trended team Renjun for days but they also clogged the searches and created many many hit tweets. Let me share some of them! It's been a few years since an Lunar New Year (LNY) guide's been written so here we go. And yes, most people in the world call this Chinese New Year because, well, that's most of the people in the world. This game has always used the more inclusive "Lunar New Year". We're in the middle of event season - next up is Birthday!
TL;DR
The event breaks down into a few phases:
Collect dumpling cheese at stockpiles
Use Dumpling or Nian Gao'da (aka ngd, red cheese) at stockpiles to get the lantern (once) and collect candles
Use candles to raise the lantern for rewards - and double/triple loot
But you really should read the Overview, at least.
Overview
This event has two special cheeses and they have special uses. Dumpling Cheese is dropped fairly readily at stockpiles. It's available in map chests (10 in regular lantern lighter, 20 in rare ones) and dropped at a fairly constant rate once you factor in general catch rates. This means every stockpile is approximately equally good (see below for other factors). The other cheese is Nian Gao'da and is often called NGD or red cheese. This one comes from certain rewards and can be gotten by donating or from kits. Dumpling Cheese attracts all the event mice except Lunar Red Candle Maker. NGD attracts all the event mice. Both cheeses will get you white candles but only NGD will get you red candles. Your first objective in the event is to get the Ox Lantern. This is done by catching all 12 costumed mice. They are caught in the zodiac order at this time only and will eventually show up - promise! It often takes more than 60 hunts to get through this phase. If you're farming dumpling cheese I suggest switching between the farming of that and the catching of these mice. Once you have the lantern you're able to take part in the much more interesting aspect of the event - increasing your loot drops! When you light your lantern it will burn a candle every hunt. If you catch a mouse on that hunt and it drops loot that loot will be doubled with the white candles or tripled with the red candles. Every hunt you burn a candle (that's every hunt the lantern is lit) your lantern raises towards 500 feet (or meters or metres or parsecs if you prefer). If goes 1 unit for white candles and 2 units for red ones. Every 10 units there's a "reward" of +1 luck. This luck is automatically applied every hunt your lantern is lit no matter which candle you're using. So the maximum luck bonus you can get is 50 and this can greatly help with some catch rates (Queen Quesada and Monster of the Meteor being a couple that are interesting). There are other rewards on the lantern track as well, including NGD! Not everyone gets to 500' and not everyone needs to. That loot multiplier needs a bit of explaining. Let's look at a standard journal entry: ``` 3:10 pm - Floating Islands I sounded the Hunter's Horn and was successful in the hunt! I caught a 1 oz. Seasoned Islandographer Mouse worth 100,000 points and 10,000 gold. The mouse also dropped the following loot: 17 Sky Glass, and 9 Sky Ore ``` I starred the important bit here, the mouse also dropped the following loot. The ONLY things that can be multiplied show up after that. HOWEVER there are caveats - things with an inventory max, event things (dumplings, candles), things that don't make sense (map clues, for example), and things that aren't in that part of the journal entry! Seriously, we always get questions about geyser nests, treasure chests, bonus procs like gilded charms, vrift caches, etc. Hopefully this is clear but I bet we get some questions in the comments below. This became a long Overview.
Stockpiles
First question is often "which is the best stockpile?" First things first, drop rates of event cheese are related to catch rates of the mice. So you'll see things like Ful'Mina dropping 4 dumplings. She doesn't always drop that much and it averages out. But you can believe what you want and hope to beat the house at its game. Second things second, stockpiles are also where you farm most of your candles (unless you're leeching map chests or donating but then this section isn't for you anyway). Candles drop from event mice (let's ignore Gift of the Day Base for this). Event mice have a minluck of 23 - this is pretty weak and you'll get a good catch rate on them. Event cheese does not attract event mice exclusively, though - so be aware there are other mice around. So here's a handy table of pros and cons for the stockpiles and the various stages of farming.

Using Candles
Always, always, always people ask "where's the best place?" as though there is a single best place. I will not replicate Warden Slayer's loot tier list here but I will highlight that Monstrous Black Widow is "infinitely" spammable and gives a lot of good loot that multiplies (also ropes and things); Ascended Elder's brooms set you up for a lot of frift cycling and have decent loot (but his cheese is expensive); Ful'Mina drops a lot of cool things; Artillery Commander's launch boxes multiply; everything (curds, ore, glass, wind, stones, paragon loot, pirate seals, and Richard's troves) except Warden Stones and the island's trove multiplies in Floating Islands. Other areas that are quite loot-dependent become a lot faster to complete with candles. Double nachore would let you upgrade your pump or buy more map scrolls, for example. Even earlier, double pepper seeds or cheese ingredients in the Tribal Islands can speed that up. Plus you have a luck bonus from the lantern. So I'm not going to tell you the "best" place to candle - think about what you're working on and whether the luck will help your catch rate or if the bonus loot will get it done faster. Then think about other stupid goals like if you wanted to poke 1000 unstable curds; some of those things are easier to do. Personally, I bronzed the last mice I needed to bronze, Artillery Commander and the Shattering trio, because they drop good loot. Now I'm farming pirate seals and troves from Richard.
The Valentine's Stuff
For a few days (Feb 10-16) we'll have Valentine's mice. These are strictly "bonus hunts". Every time you attract a "regular" mouse there's a 20% chance there's a valentine's mouse "holding hands" with it (I know, it's pretty cute - but also these mice don't have a pandemic). You have an equal chance for any of the valentine's mice. These bonus mice drop their own loot but amusingly they'll also cause a bunch of equipment to proc - snowball charms upgrade without being consumed, for example. Candles do not do anything to their loot. Their minluck is 39, which is kind of on the high end. I left my 2021 base/rift glacier gatlerift snowball setup in Gnawnia Rift because it was too low.

So... It's 2021. And you know what time it is. It's Taeil timeeee. Just kidding. Jisung just became an adult, so it's time for a rainy day and a rooftop fight. Nctzens have been waiting for this particular moment for FOUR years and now time is up. Time to fight, punch and kick like a Bruce Lee. If you have no idea what rooftop fight is, if you are just a casual lurker who is interested or you are just a new Czennie and have no idea what's going on but you also don't want to miss THE FUN to one of the biggest events in Ncity. Dont worry. I- no. Neo got your back.
So What Is Rooftop Fight? Introduction to Dreamies Beautiful Mind and their urge to fight.
So the first time rooftop fight was mentioned in 2017, in NCT night night. Renjun and Jeno casually mentioned their plans. No one took them seriously. In 2018 however their plans started to become more defined. Now we had some conditions: 1. They would wait until Jisung becomes an adult. 2. It has to be a rainy day. 3. They would wear suits. 4. Like in movies. 5. Should be in rooftop. After all the rules were set we also learned an interesting fact in 2018 We Go Up era. Mark and Haechan said they would stop fighting until rooftop fight. I am guessing this decision was made after infamous 2017 Markhyuck summer fight. In 2019 several members started to mention rooftop fight and how close it is. They were as shocked as Nctzens that Jisung is becoming an adult, and their time to fullfill their duty to fight was closer than expected. In 2020 they also promised to livestream or record which made all Nctzens more excited. Then Jisung voiced his concern that what if it snows and not rains... Would it be okay? Would it fullfill their fantasies to happen just like in the movies? Nevertheless people are ready. Several polls and posts were made. Chenle even voted for himself for the rooftop fight in his radio and commented on a fanmade poster made by a Chinese Nctzen in Weibo. And here is the summary of the dreamies fantasy to fight, a six minutes of Dreamies mentioning rooftop fight. So you may ask why? Why Dreamies want to fight this much? Because they are savage. Their words not mine. Blackpink made Pretty Savage for NCT Dream actually. But on a serious note, fighting and throwing fists is in Dreamies nature. They should try on SM actually. These kids sees nothing, not friendship, public image or mean comments can stop them when it comes to competiton. Intro got too long. I hope you get the gist because we are getting to the real thing. Now we are analysing each dreamies strength and weaknesses and possible theories that might happen. Let's go from oldest to youngest. First dreamie and first (and only) graduate. One and only Mark Lee.
Team Mark Lee
1. Arguably the strongest Dreamie. He beat Jeno and Jaemin recently in arm wrestling (although he lost against them in 2018 Weekly idol) and dreamies say he is the strongest out of all. He might be cute and all but he has abs (confirmed by Nct and Nctzens in the countless times he accidently showed.) and he can punch a watermelon. 2. Leader aura so he has authority actually not So suprisingly, Mark has a liittle bit authority that he could use even though he never does. Here Jisung saying he never fought with Mark because he has a strong leader aura and Jeno-Mark also never fought through the 7 years they know each other. Markhyuck can't relate.Here is also Jeno ranking Mark number 1 in influence. So here is also a video of NCT Dream playing mafia especially in 3:05 notice how when Mark raises his voice everyone turns to listen him. And throughout the video he keeps narrating and somehow manages to make dreamies listen him. My point is if things got too heated dreamies will listen him. Although I am not sure how it will help him in a fight, these kids see nothing when it comes to a competition but I gotta add some points for Mark too yk. 3. Reflexes Mark is associated with Spider Man because of his reflexes. Here is a compilation of those moments. Mark may have one of the lowest chances of survival speculated by Nctzens but his reflexes may be the solution he looks for. Weaknesses: 1. Too soft This man may be strong but his mentality is weak. He can't throw a punch at least not to his kids dreamies. Also he can't hold an argument to save his life. Dreamies are ruthless and they can easily gang up and tease him forever. As they said their team work is the best when they tease him. So there is no way Mark survives against 6 young, scary kid. 2. Laughs too much Mark is a mess when he laughs. Basically this is Mark Lee. On a recent poll in this sub he is chosen as the dreamie who will most likely to lose first and have absolutely no chance to win. Take a look at the results. 1. Makes everyone scared of him. Don't make Renjun angry, that's for sure. Renjun doesn't know age, seniority, strength or public image. If you make him angry you will pay. Here is a short compilation of his victims. He might throw hands or embarrass you on national TV. It doesn't matter how, if you made him angry run for your life. There is a reason why Renjun is speculated to win and that's because even Nctzens are scared what will happen to them if they don't choose him. 2. Smart Renjun is a very smart and witty member of Dream. In his radio show RenD, everyone praised him for being so mature compared to his age and several members complimented about how smart he is. His witty sense of humor is a Czennie favourite content for sure. Despite knowing better Korean than his Korean members he manages to pull the foreigner cardwhenever he feels struggling. This should tell you that if Renjun wants something he will get it. Weaknesses 1. He is a shoulder gangster for a reason. He is the tiny king of dream with a nickname shoulder gangster. He may lack in the strength area, he is arguably the weakest dreamie. Although Ncity has full confidence in him, TeamRenjun trending for days, this is something we must consider. Renjun must have use his strengths to fullest because this is his biggest weakness and arguably the most important thing in a fight. 2. No other weakness is found. Next we have Jeno Lee! Nct dream's other leader Jenojam!

1. Muscles Jeno is definetly one of the strongest members of NCT Dream and he is very muscular. Take a look of those muscles that even Lucas simps over. Although Jeno doesn't look very scary I am sure everyone's flight mode will be activated when they see a muscular Jeno ready to fight. 2. A peaceful no enemy friend Jeno is one of the most lovable members in Dream wth a peaceful nature. No one hates him and no one has a reason to attack him first. One of his biggest arch nemesis Doyoung and his successor Renjun would be delighted to use this opportunity to get their revenge from Haechan. Who knows Doyoung might even join the fight solely for this purpose but that's another topic for later. Unfortunetly some of his victims are also featured in this fight like Renjun, Mark, Jeno, Jaemin, Chenle, Jisung aka all dreamies. Haechan must protect himself because Dreamies are coming for his ass and this time they don't even need an excuse. 2. In a physical fight I am afraid Haechan must rely on his running power. Yeahh, Haechan is not exactly the strongest member. I guess we should say luckily he is not strong because otherwise would be just an overkill. Combining how he is not that strong and he has just soo many members ready to throw hands I am afraid Haechan needs to run. As fast as possible. He only needs to run faster than Mark whom will be a great victim and distraction for other dreamies not because he is evil but because he is destined to be teased, still I am not sure if Haechan can be faster than Mark. Suddenly Haechan's survival rate drops.
Team Chenle
1. Competitve confident king Chenle is an absolute beast. He is competitive. He is confident. And he doesn't stop until he wins. Here ın ISAC see how serious he gots to win. Also you know what they say: Confidence is the key. There is no other member that is as confident as him. Ok maybe Haechan. He isn't scared to give spoilers because who is SM to stop him. He has full confidence to his hair line, big head and to himself for winning the rooftop fight... You just can't help but root for Chenle. 2. Daegal Recently Chenle showed his new puppy Daegal whose a biaswrecker for every Nctzen and Nct member but fans are speculating there is a reason of his sudden introduction to Ncity: Read some of those speculations where he might win by default. Chenle is not really known for his handling a lost with humility skills, as you can see from how much of a big deal he made when he lost to Mark (out of all people lol) in PES ... So that's why people speculate Daegal is Chenle's secret weapon. Not that Chenle needs one... just for in case. 3. Young and rich Chenle is young and rich. A killer combo indeed. Here is a great video on the issue. I have a strong feeling that he can use this to his advantage just like how he got a pass on weekly idol or how he get to eat the prize food even though he lost and how he was chosen as a leader in NCT World 2.0 among his senior members. He can bribe his members teaming with them, he can pay for some bodyguards because there is no rule and as Jaemin said Cheating is a skill. Chenle has a huge advantage from start and that's a fact. Let's see how he will use it. Weaknesses 1. Strength? Not so much. While Chenle is definetly not the weakest member that title is shared among Renjun and Haechan he is also not one of the strongest. In a serious and important fight like this we can only hope this weakness of him won't be the end and he can use his strengths skillfully in order to achieve what he wants the most: Winning. Other than that no weaknesses founded.
Team Jisung
1. Adorable maknae that just turned to 20 Jisung (20) forever probably not considering the nct systemmaknae. This cute adorable maknae is every nct members weakness (but especially Jaemin's ) He may not need to fight in order to take the crown. Many nctzens think that other dreamies might let Jisung win to congratulate his beginning of adulthood. While its a cute little idea would that be enough to break Dreamies competitive soul? You decide. 2. Sneaky Many Nctzens also believe that Jisung is sneaky enough to win. Remember the moment, he stole some A marks and changed his F status. He might be maknae but he has the wit, the charm and skill to win. Don't underestimate maknae Jisung although you probably do just like NCT Dream and that's why he might be the main charachter of the biggest plot twists ever. Weaknesses 1. Awkard mess While I just said not to underestimate Jisung, there is a reason why he is so underestimated. He is incredibly clumsy. One of my main theories is that he will trip to a nonexisting rock and fall, and then Haechan will disqualify him automatically. Unlike Haechan, Jisung's biggest enemy is himself and probably only himself. Wow. We came to the end! Before I really seriously conclude I want to take a moment to appreciate Nctzens who made absolutely hilarious memes about it and created a huge buzz. Not only they trended team Renjun for days but they also clogged the searches and created many many hit tweets. Let me share some of them! A Dive into Dendro Vision/Archon, Sumeru, and Dendro Characters

I have also made these speculations based on the fact that Sumeru is based on or influenced by Middle Eastern and South Asian cultures. If there are any stuff i missed feel free to reply! First we have to ask. Why no dendro, mihoyo? I like to think there are two possibilities ;
Mihoyo ran out of time or resources or whatever. This is highly unlikely though, considering the amount of work they've created. To just not include one because of technical issues and such does not seem professional.
They left out dendro on purpose for storytelling reasons. This is the most plausible explanation. Though I don’t know why they would, considering the dendro archon’s story would be in Chapter 3. But if you think about how they do things by patches it would make more sense, letting the players focus on the next chapter instead of two or three chapters ahead when it’s not necessary.
SUMERU With that’ let’s begin with what we know about Sumeru based on canon lore. Sumeru is introduced in the Teyvat Chapter Story Preview with the following information: SUMERU ; Truth Amongst the Pages of Purana ; “The God of Wisdom's enemy is wisdom itself, and the oasis of knowledge is a mirage in the desert of ignorance. In the city of scholars there is a push for folly, yet the God of Wisdom makes no argument against it.” (subtitle: Beneath the flowers, a light of wisdom (disputable, many different interpretations of the latin words) ) We also know that Sumeru is the place of wisdom, knowledge, and that it is under the rule of the Dendro Archon.
GEOGRAPHY:
From customs of Liyue Vol.2, the Sumeru scholar Fadhlan says this about his homeland “The raving-mad sages of the nation of rainforests drive themselves to hysterics as they abandon all that is worldly in their pursuit of elusive and esoteric wisdom,” It is also worth noting that lots of Sumeru scholars and locals can be found in Liyue, Liyue is South/South-East of Mondstadt. Theoretically this would place Sumeru on the left of Liyue, neighbors. However, we know that the area next to Liyue is The Chasm. The Chasm is apparently sealed away by the Ministry of Civil Affairs. Now, the Chasm seems to be just a part of Liyue still, hence Sumeru (and Mare Jivari) would be further west, past Chasm. My only evidence to support this are videos of people who glitched through the Chasm in Closed Beta 2, where we could see sandy/rocky textures. Although after the 1.1 patch it seems the landscape of The Chasm has changed, going for rockier and greener pastures instead. speculation There seems to be another location in Teyvat that’s connected to Sumeru. Mare Jivari. It’s whereabouts are southwest of Mondstadt, said to be a place where the wind does not blow and contains a sea of ashes (that burns). Mare Jivari is mentioned several times, notably in the Lavawalker artifact set, Wanderer’s Troupe, and in Stanley the Adventurer’s dialogue. Therefore we could say Sumeru is preceded by a desert, if we assume the location of Mare Jivari is right before we enter Sumeru. Therefore, Sumeru has both desert and rainforest biomes. This would work hand in hand with the idea that Sumeru is a melting-pot of Middle-East and South Asian cultures.
PEOPLE
It has a renowned academia where people/scholars come to study, one of those people being Lisa. This is also true to what Sumeru NPCs and NPCs that have visited Sumeru have to say about the region as most of them are traveling scholars. Lisa’s Story 5 has this to say about the scholars of Sumeru ; “Having personally witnessed raving-mad scholars in the forests of Sumeru and powerful sages sitting underutilized advisory councils, Lisa realized what uninhibited erudition can really do to a person. It seemed such a high price to pay... How much did one have to sacrifice to attain the profoundest knowledge at all? Put off by this realization, Lisa decided to leave Sumeru.” The people of Sumeru, particularly the scholars, seem to have an obsession with gaining knowledge. They are after all at the hub and frontier of knowledge acquisition. People from Sumeru are acquainted with astrology “(Traveler):I wonder if the fates of people from Teyvat are also related to their constellation? Paimon:Oh? Do you know how to read the stars, too? That's amazing! Not a lot of people outside ofSumerucan do it.” Another group of people said to be connected to the stars are those from Khaenri’ah, the long gone ancient civilization. It wouldn’t surprise me if people of Sumeru could read stars since the studies of the universe could lead to acquiring knowledge not from the world, and with the obsession of the scholars, of course they would learn to read and interpret the stars. Known characters from Sumeru; Cyno (manga) ; a scholar Collei (manga) ; young girl that was experimented on Soraya ; scholar at wangshu inn Sayid ; traveling scholar at mondstadt Alrani ; soraya’s classmate Crimson Witch ; maiden student at Sumeru who created the Crimson Witch of Flames artifact set
CULTURE
In regards to their culture, we know they’ve got a signature drink as Zhongli says in one of the Liyue quests. Zhongli:It must be said that the famed liquor of the Land of Pastorals is far better than Sumeru's frigid snake wine. Snakes and serpents have varied meanings tied to it but the most common is that it’s a symbol of rebirth or healing. I can’t say much more but there’s a chance snakes could be a prominent motif in the region (going by the speculation that Baizhu could have gone to Sumeru to study medicine* see his section for more detail)
SPECULATION
Now here is where I’m going to implement some Honkai elements, because I spent hours reading their manga and stumbled upon a very peculiar find. So spoilers for the manga if you don’t want to be spoiled feel free to skip! We know that Honkai and Genshin exist as parallel universes of one another, we can see Dvalin in a Honkai interview. (insert image) In the series Second Key, valkyrie Bianka is sent inside the second divine key and meets a mysterious man named Su sitting under a large tree with a leaf in his hand. Su says that they are currently in a bubble universe (universes that no longer exist iirc.) and he’s named the divine key Seed of Sumeru. What this divine key does basically is allow its user the ability to analyze and observe parallel universes. By the end of the Second Key series, Su hands over the leaf to Bianka before she leaves, saying that it has a record of all the important parallel universes that will help against the war against the Honkai. Later on the leaf goes on to write “the answer you seek lies on the other side of the Tree.” Now. I have a whole other theory on the possible connections, but to stay on topic let’s look at the seed’s name. I don’t think it’s a coincidence they used the name Sumeru here, and I don’t think it’s just some lazy copy paste either. Sumeru being linked with wisdom and the pursuit of knowledge, would be the perfect name to an object that allows you to peer into other universes. So where does that leave us? Without spilling into other theories, I speculate that since Sumeru people are good at reading the stars, perhaps there is a tree or even just a branch with leaves like Su’s Seed of Sumeru. https://preview.redd.it/1nsxo1b5g1061.jpg?width=1564&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=14cd17c009246e1bc935bd37a05b0d299a22bdbf DENDRO VISION / ARCHON What we know of the Dendro Archon comes from Ganyu in the 3rd chapter of the Liyue arc. She says that the Dendro Archon is the youngest at 500 years old. Now what I’m uncertain of is if she’s referring to the past Dendro Archon (part of the OG 7) or is she referring to the current dendro archon? Further regards to the current Dendro Archon can be found in the Chapter Storyline trailer where Dainsleif speaks of the Dendro Archon in the line “In the city of scholars there is a push for folly, yet the God of Wisdom makes no argument against it.” It seems like the Archon is sitting in the middle of whatever conflict is going on in their region and does not take any sides. Perhaps they are busy themselves, head too deep in the books and scrolls that they disregard the people of Sumeru. I wonder if by the end of the arc their gnosis would be taken too, perhaps the wisdom of the Archon sees it as something inevitable. As for dendro visions, my first instinct is to think that their skillset would be like that of the dendro slime and dendro samachurls. This includes healing and manipulation of floars (like making thorn barriers). Other than that I’m not sure what kind of powers they would have. And of course the elemental reaction they’d have is Burn (+pyro), but maybe Mihoyo could introduce new elemental reactions? DENDRO CHARACTERS Currently only two in the game, looks like Yaoyao is going to appear first before Baizhu.
YAOYAO
What we know about Yaoyao is that she’s currently Ganyu’s assistant, a catalyst dendro user, and was under the same master chef as Xiangling. While not much is known, we do have a few voice lines about her from Qiqi, Xiangling, Ningguang, Beidou. Beidou - says that Yaoyao often comes aboard the ship when they are at the docks. Beidou seems fond of her. Ningguang - Comments that Yaoyao has been obsessed with seafood these past few days. Qiqi - thinks she is cute like a little finch. Xiangling - sees Yaoyao as a fellow chef but says that she has not visited Wanmin Restaurant for a while now. Interestingly, she recalls Yaoyao telling her off for attempting to eat raw octopus. We’ve also seen her in the mid autumn festival image alongside Qiqi. Supported by Qiqi’s voiceline about her, we can assume that the two are well acquainted. We might hear more of her when Ganyu’s banner rolls around.
BAIZHU
This man is actually what started my deep dive into genshin lore and investigating dendro vision/ Sumeru. That being said, I have a whole board with red strings all over it trying to piece together who he is from what scraps we have. We’re going to begin with establishing what we know of him in the game and through interactions or voice lines. Afterwards we will move onto speculations on his character and backstory. Let’s start with the facts and what we have experienced in-game. One of our earliests interactions with Baizhu is a comment by Herbalist Gui, the man concocting medicine at Bubu Pharmacy. He says Baizhu has poor constitution and that the doctor has been ill ever since he worked at the pharmacy. He mostly does home visits to his patients. We finally meet the man himself in Farewell Archaic Lord quest while purchasing incense. We can clearly see that his vision is a dendro one, matching his profession as a doctor who works with herbs. He’s got a talking white snake named Changsheng wrapped around his neck. Zhongli does not recognize him at first. Childe as well. When Zhongli tries to haggle the price of the incense from 3m mora, Baizhu only lowers it to 2.9m mora. And after the scene is done and you talk to him again, his white snake remarks that Baizhu has found another person to fleece, you have been warned. This suggests that Baizhu regularly swindles people buying specialties or even the medicine at the pharmacy. More canon lore about him can be found in Qiqi’s story and various voice lines from Qiqi, Xingqiu, Xiangling, Keqing, and Xiao (CBT3). Let’s start with Qiqi, of whom we have the most information about the doctor. It’s only natural because she is his assistant/protege. Her job at the pharmacy is to collect herbs because Baizhu himself is unable to. When Qiqi reawakens and breaks free from her amber, she instinctively goes to the hills to hide (because she was already a herb picker before) and that is where she ran into Baizhu. From her 5th Story section, it says “Now, Baizhu was a doctor of great skill, but he was hardly a man of high caliber or great courage.” and “It does seem that his acceptance of Qiqi has something to do with his own personal pursuits.” These two sentences give us an insight into what kind of person he is. It’s first established that he is a skilled doctor (as we come to know later by other voice lines). Next is says “he was hardly a man of high caliber or great courage”. By definition a “high caliber” means of high standards, capability, skill and intelligence. However, that would contradict the first fact of him being a skilled doctor. Therefore, I assume that “high caliber” refers to something else, perhaps aside from his skill and intelligence as a doctor he is pretty basic. It fits with him not having great courage either, which I guess they are talking about in general. So he is a skilled doctor, but is not known for anything else other than that, and has little courage. Story 3 talks about how Qiqi can order herself around despite being a zombie. It goes on to add that ; “The method to cancel her orders is very simple—hug Qiqi from behind, tell her something like "I love you the most," and the orders will dissipate, just like that. Unfortunately, there's just no element of sincerity when Baizhu does it, leading to greatly reduced results.” From this passage, we see that Baizhu is not a very warm person. Or at least not sincerely. Coupled with the fact that he may have his own motivations with having taken Qiqi under his wing, we could see this as either him not wanting to grow attached to her as a family OR he just doesn’t care much about her (at least not enough to be sincere about being affectionate towards her). Qiqi’s voice lines provide more intrigue into his character. In her About Baizhu… voice line she says “I can never remember Dr. Baizhu's face. But I don't mind.” This can mean two things; a) she really doesn’t mind and it’s not in her best interest to memorize faces because she forgets so often and he’s a constant in her life even if she doesn’t remember, b) she recognizes Baizhu’s suspicious nature and thus couldn’t care less if she remembers his face. If it’s true he doesn’t sincerely care for her, why should she make the effort to remember his face? To sum it up, it seems like his relationship with Qiqi is elusive and complicated. We don’t know if Qiqi is fully aware of what schemes he has, or if she is even suspicious of him because most of the information from the story is in third person, perhaps an omniscient point of view that is not Qiqi. Next are the voice lines of other characters xiangling - Says he smells like Mist Flowers. Says his traditional herbal medicine tastes very bitter. xingqiu - Thinks there is more than meets the eye with Qiqi but is unable to speak with her because Baizhu is constantly hovering around her. Xingqiu is very smart and perceptive, it’s no wonder he’s got an eye out on Qiqi and Baizhu. The interesting part is that he sees Baizhu hovering over Qiqi a lot. But we know he’s rarely seen at the pharmacy because he’s doing house visits. It could mean that Xinqiu has met the doctor more than once during house visits for whatever reason, or he had seen the doctor work at the front desk before he was replaced by Herbalist Gui (assuming that the timeframe was only several years ago). keqing - Says that people have faith in Baizhu’s work and skill as a doctor. She is not aware of the rumors regarding Baizhu/Bubu Pharmacy, but has been there several times because the bitter medicine has left her with some horrible memories Here we get more confirmation that Baizhu is indeed a renowned doctor in Liyue. But there are apparently rumors surrounding him. What these rumors could be, I don’t have much to go off about. Like Xingqiu, I believe Keqing has met him at least more than once because she has tasted the medicine prescribed by him. xiao - Mc wishes for Baizhu to make a medicine to reduce Xiao’s pain to which he says a mortal’s medicine is ineffective on immortals. (this is a translation from CBT3, it could change in the future)
speculation of things connected to him
Mist Flowers - Xiangling says he smells like mist flowers. This is a very peculiar thing to say, mostly because it must be something very important to the character. It’s not everyday you go around telling someone what another person smells like unless it’s profound. Mist flowers are cryo elements, once harvested they are still cold. Currently in the game mist flowers can be used to create frost potions. My speculation is that cryo elements tend to have healing properties, and low temperatures are associated with the undead. This presents us with two possibilities a) He is investigating or researching mist flower properties on Qiqi, a zombie, for whatever reason b) he is investigating or researching mist flower properties on himself as a medicine. Perhaps more sinister uses could be considered although I can’t see what it would be. Changsheng - The name of his white snake is an interesting one. Changsheng in chinese means “long lived” and is part of a longer phrase commonly found on charms. The full phrase is “长生不老” “chang sheng bu lao” ; to live forever and never become old ; aka immortality. It’s ironic that a man with an incurable illness has a pet snake whose name refers to immortality and good health. Perhaps the snake was a gift wishing him luck? Name Meaning - mihoyo rlly picked something so obvious FHGDF doctor named after a medicinal herb in chinese traditional medicine it's supposed to balance yin+yang. sources say it's a herb that tonify/regulates the qi but also has healing effects in the spleen/stomach region. The taste is warm, bitter, and sweet. His name could allude to the type of illness he has. when i first saw him i did not connect any dots whatsoever to him being sickly, i only found out after talking with herbalist gui. so his symptoms aren't visible on the surface. This could mean his illness is related to his qi. Herbalist gui uses the word "poor constitution" to address his condition. He seems to be so sick he can't be at the pharmacy to put medicine together or pick herbs, meaning physical activity is a no no for him. constitution can have two meanings ; health / physique or mental/psychological makeup.
Bubu Pharmacy
probably started as a small pharmacy in the early years of liyue's settlement. zhongli abt the pharmacy: "the finest pharmacy in all of-(liyue?)" this means that the pharmacy has built its reputation over the hundreds/thousands of years, meaning it changes bosses over time. this provides us two possibilities; baizhu's family has been running the pharmacy OR he inherited it from someone else (his teachemaster, previous boss) Baizhu coming from a line of doctors could be possible and he's just carrying the legacy of his ancestors But the second possibility entertains the idea that he has had his illness since he was young and because he wanted to find a way to cure it he either A) studies under previous pharmacy boss or B) goes to Sumeru to study and comes back to Liyue as the pharmacy apprentice
Sumeru
This is the most speculative out of all the baizhu content i have so please take it with a grain of salt! I love reading into things and coming up with theories hehe. I have speculated that Baizhu is tied to Sumeru because it’s likely he went to study there at some point. Here are the following points I will cover ; 1) clothing style Considering that Sumeru is a blend of Middle-East and South Asian cultures, it wouldn’t be too far of a stretch in my opinion to say his style is somewhat inspired by them. It still has some Liyue elements to it like his collar shape, but otherwise I would say his outfit really stands out against other Liyue characters. The only other person whose style comes close to him would be Xiao, but mostly in color palette. Interesting notes about his outfit are his arm guards (one of which reminds me of a bow arm brace), the odd vines (?) wrapping around his left hand, and the fabric with a large snake on it. 2) has a snake pet Previously mentioned in the Sumeru half of this post, it could be likely that snakes are relevant to Sumeru, perhaps even important creatures. Thus it wouldn’t be weird that he has a snake around his neck if he’s been to Sumeru before. And the fact that he wears fabric that has a snake on it could mean he is tied to the snake (or snake symbol). 3) dendro vision Pretty obvious. Dendro vision from the dendro archon who rules over Sumeru. Now not all characters have visited the region of their vision (i.e lisa, razor, klee etc) but there if he did go there to study, it would make sense that he received a dendro vision. 4) medicine (collei and cyno return to sumeru to study medicine, further suggesting that if you wanna study to get REAL GOOD you go to Sumeru!!) Aside from studying magic, it’s suggested that Sumeru is the center of learning, so I guess you can go there to learn anything including medicine. 5) concepts of wisdom and knowledge (skilled doctor = smart, must have obtained that knowledge from somewhere reliable, first hand) His character design screams stereotypical smart guy because of the glasses and, I think, doctors coat he wears on his shoulder. 6) Suspicious motives his motives could be fueled by the lust for knowledge that drives sumeru scholars mad > he wants knowledge on how to cure his illness > healing research with mist flowers (among other things) 7) eye color + pupil style Eye color and iris style is an interesting topic. In Genshin there are 3 sets of characters that share a common thread with their eye color and pupil style. The first is Venti and Zhongli. If you look closely their pupils are brighter, their eyes have a strange glow to them. If the next archon has eyes like this then it could be a trend for all the archons to have light colored pupils. The second are Dainsleif and Kaeya. Both hail from Khaenri’ah and both have blue colored eyes with a star pupil. The last one is Baizhu and Cyno. Both characters have this reddish, lava/blood-orange eye color with a yellow bottom half and slitted pupils. Cyno is of Sumeru origins, but we’re not so sure about Baizhu. This is a far fetched theory but he(and yaoyao by extension) might have Sumeru blood. Barnabas, a shaman in the manga, is from Sumeru as well and has slit pupils (although his iris is yellow) Another far fetched on is this is the type of eye shared by dendro users but Cyno isn’t a dendro user as far as we know, but Yaoyao has the same eye color (though no slitted pupils probably due to her child like model). There’s a fun little theory going around twitter that he could be an ex-archon and that could explain his deteriorating health. While the theory is fun and cool, and as he is one of my favs it would be great, I don’t think it’s very likely he’s an ex-archon.
